Derby County Football Club is an English club based in Derby. Derby were one of the
twelve members of the Football League in 1888 and is only one of ten clubs to have
competed in every season of the English football league.
Derby County F.C. was founded in 1884 and was an offshoot of Derbyshire County Cricket
Club. The club's most successful period came in the 1970's when they were crowned
English League Champions twice and competed in major European competitions on four
separate occasions. They reached the semi-finals of the European Cup as well as winning
several minor trophies.
The club's nickname is The Rams and their home ground has been Pride Park since 1997.

Here is the Derby County new home shirt and kit along with their new goalkeepers’
jersey for the 2013-2014 season. The kits are made by Kappa and Buy Mobiles is the
The new home shirt now features a collar, in black and there is a black panel on
the sleeves. Black shorts and white socks complete the new home strip.
The new goalkeepers’ jersey is grey with yellow detail as you can see in the photo’s.
Derby County Chief Executive, Sam Rush said about the new kit, ‘We have worked hard
alongside Kappa and we’re happy with the end result.
“The collar has been re-introduced for the first time in quite a while, as we have
regularly received feedback from supporters stating that they’d like to see that
particular feature back on the shirt.”

DERBY COUNTY AWAY SHIRT & KIT 2013/14 KAPPA
Here is the new Derby County away shirt and kit for the 2013/14 season. The new away
strip is made by Kappa and Buy Mobiles is the main kit sponsor.
The new away kit is mainly maroon in colour, with black and white detail as you can
see in the pictures above. You can also see the new yellow away goalkeepers' jersey.
Fans seem to be divided on the new away kit. Many say the sponsors logo is too big
and high up the shirt, along with the club crest.
